The following two tables illustrate the SAT Scores for 2011 and 2012…
In 2011, Fairfield had the lowest average SAT score compared to the surrounding towns. Fairfield’s average SAT score was 112 points lower than the average of the other towns listed. In 2012, Fairfield’s average SAT score dropped steeply. Fairfield’s average SAT score was 126 points lower than the average of the other surrounding towns.

You did not include Bridgeport, which is most definitely a surrounding town. The towns that you include, i do not believe, have the same representation of kids with ESL, or the same household income levels, which have been shown to have a direct correlation on SAT scores. Also, if you measure how many kids from the other towns included use SAT prep and private tutoring compared to Fairfield and Bridgeport, and took them out of this sample, it would paint a totally different picture.
Last year’s graduating class had a statistically unusual number of National Merit Scholars, let alone semi-finalists and finalists. I do not see this statistic posted anywhere on your web-site.
Please be fair in your statistics. You are misrepresenting what is going on in the town here.
